Did you hear the news? The Rocky Butte Farmers Market is going weekly this year! We are thrilled to be able to offer the Market and its products from the farmers and artisans we love, each Saturday from June to September. We are looking for musicians and entertainers to join us to provide additional fun and enjoyment each week—and that’s where you come in.
Some of our previous entertainers include:
Live music and entertainment are a key ingredient to our Market’s success; feedback regarding this aspect of the Market has been stellar. We’d love for you to join us this upcoming season. To perform and/or submit your group for consideration, please fill out this form once for each musical act. Be sure to include current examples of your music or entertainment. Compensation for your time performing at the Market is $50/hour for a two-hour slot; the location is at the base of Rocky Butte in the spacious Mannahouse Church parking lot. Joshua Shirley is our point person for all music/entertainment-related interest and questions you may have. We are excited to work toward a great season of live performances and look forward to hearing from you! ![]() It's still a little ways away, but I'm getting super excited for this years Rocky Butte farmers market season! I'm curious to see who our new farmers and makers will be and looking forward to welcoming back some vendors from 2021. This year, the Rocky Butte Farmers Market is partnering with Sparrowhawk Native Plants and Dharma Rain to bring more native plants to the communities of Rocky Butte. We're hoping to see thousands of native plants into our communities - while raising money for our beloved neighborhood market! This event is helping to raise funds for our market's transition to a weekly cadence. There are 2 ways you can be a farmers market supporter: 1) order plants beginning 2/15 and mark your pick-up location as Dharma Rain. (Save the date!) 2) sign up to assist in plant distribution at Dharma Rain. Click through to sign up and order plants to support our efforts! read through the details here. ![]() We're shifting into a weekly format! That's right! After a bit of deliberation and a lot of thought and planning, the RBFM team has decided to expand the market to occur every week beginning this June! It was clear that our monthly format was well received but that patrons wanted more. Concurrently we found that many of our vendors, as well as vendors who we're wanting to attract, are hoping for an increase in market frequency. It was clear that going weekly was the right direction for us to take. We're returning to the Mannahouse Church parking lot at the base of Rocky Butte - 9200 NE Fremont St. Our market will run Saturdays from June 4th through September 24th, 9am - 1pm. Our vendor application will go live the beginning of February. Please pass on the word to your favorite farmer or food maker. We are looking for new vendors to join us! Rocky Butte Farmers Market is excited to announce our 2021 Vendors! These local farmers, food and beverage producers, and artisans look forward to meeting you at the market starting with our first market on Saturday, June 12.
And what a bounty there will be--get ready for the freshest, most delicious fruits, vegetables and herbs; breads, bagels and baked goods; pastured meats and eggs; locally made salsas; cold pressed juices; coffee; hazelnuts; honey; spirits; and handcrafted goods made by neighborhood artisans. RBFM 2021 Vendors include:
While our vendor application deadline has passed, if you are a farmer or food artisan and would like to become a Vendor at one or several of our upcoming market dates, please don’t hesitate to reach out to inquire - [email protected] The Rocky Butte Farmers Market will operate from 9:00 am-1:00 pm on the second Saturday of each month, June - October: June 12, July 10, August 14, September 11 and October 9 in the spacious MannaHouse Church parking lot (9200 NE Fremont).
