Liz is passionate about organizing and building communities. Food and coffee are the keys to her heart. She enjoys biking, reading, and working for the farmers market! She loves traveling with her husband, Kyle and cuddling with her two cats, Buffy and Jody.

Haley Simpson-McMahon

Market Manager

When she’s not backpacking or on a roadtrip with her husband and dog, Haley prefers to spend her time gardening at home with her two cats or volunteering at local farms. As a part of the Roseway community, she loves being able to combine her passions of taking care of the land, sustainable practices, and providing locally grown food to the community through the farmers market.

Sarah Mooney
President

Sarah Mooney has lived in Madison South for 21 years and continues to fall in love with her Rocky Butte neighborhood more each year.  Sarah holds a Master's in Human Ecology and Sustainability and was a cheese-maker in Ireland before returning home to educate cheese lovers around the country how to make and celebrate cheese. She enjoys spending time with her husband Joel, their enormous dog Alba and two tree panthers, Matilda and Toots. 

Taylor Steenblock
Vice President

Taylor joined RBFM in 2020 after moving to Madison South with her husband and dogs. She loves outdoor activities including backpacking, whitewater kayaking, and more. She works in local government and volunteers as a dog walker at Multnomah County's animal shelter.

Keri Friedman
Secretary & Marketing Director

Keri brings 25 years of marketing and photography experience to RBFM. As a Realtor living in Madison South, she has a deep love & appreciation of her neighborhood - and dogs! Supporting small, local businesses is also vitally important to her.​

Emily Davidson
​Treasurer

Emily has been involved in farmers markets and small scale dairy farms for many years. Her passion for local agriculture has fueled her career in cheese culture and manufacturing, where she now teaches classes and hosts pop-up cheese markets.
When she's not talking cheese, Emily enjoys paddling, trail running, and traveling with her family.

Harrison Schadel
​Board Member

Driven by a passion for sharing the best healthy, local, and sustainable food, Harrison and his wife Em own and operate One Up Farm, an urban farm in the Cully neighborhood and vendor at RBFM since 2022. He loves being a part of the market because it is a great way to meet neighbors and build community, all the while providing a service.

Ben Cutler

With an extensive background in local, sustainable foods, Ben helped found RBFM. He and his wife Serina currently own Fresh Love, a neighborhood cafe, market and community gathering space in Roseway.

Gillian David
Board Member

With a deep desire to support her local community, Gillian comes to the market with over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry and is excited to lend a helping hand. Outside of the market she can be found exploring anything from crafting, with a focus on textiles, to the rivers and lakes of the PNW on her SUP/kayak.
