Non-Profits &
Community Partners

One of the primary goals of Rocky Butte Farmers Market is to do our part to support the larger community and increase community resilience. If you or your organization is working to support the community, we want to work together!

We always have free space for non-profits available at our market. We’d also love to volunteer with you or do what we can to support each other!

If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, fill out the adjacent form, or keep scrolling to check out our wonderful partners!

Community Partners

  • A staple of community care along the 82nd Ave corridor, Mainspring is a voice for change, raising awareness and building partnerships to address the root causes of economic hardship, including food and clothing insecurity. Mainspring is a non-profit organization focused on providing equitable comprehensive services to meet the basic needs of residents within and beyond Portland.

Mainspring is at our market every Saturday where you can learn more about the amazing work they do. They can also take physical donations including homegrown produce, extra seeds or veggie starts you may have, non-perishables, clothing, hygiene products, etc., plus you can enter to win some incredible raffle prizes from them!

  • The Rose City Bluff Restoration is a small group of neighborhood volunteers that have been restoring the native ecological system on the Rose City Bluff - a half mile long slope on the north edge of the Rose City Golf Course (along NE Sacramento St, between 62nd and 70th ave). They've put in incredible work over the last decade clearing tough invasives like blackberries and ivy, and replacing them with native plants that directly support our local ecosystem.

Join them every Sunday at 9:30AM at the top of the Rose City Park stairs (Sacramento and NE 62nd) for their weekly volunteer parties, contact them to participate in their native seed growing program, or find them at the market occasionally to learn more about the amazing ecological work they do!

  • The Green Street Stewards Program connects community members to Portland's stormwater management program. If you live, work, or run a business in Portland, we invite you to learn more about becoming a Green Street Steward and adopting a green street planter! When at the market, they’ll have information on stormwater management in Portland, get Portlanders connected with BES programs, and teach you about the Green Street Stewards Program!
